ΧΡΙΣΤΟΥΓΕΝΝΙΑΤΙΚΟ BAZAAR ΤΗΣ ΖΩΟΦΙΛΙΚΗΣ ΕΝΩΣΗΣ ΗΛΙΟΥΠΟΛΗΣ

Σας προσκαλούμε και φέτος στο ετήσιο Χριστουγεννιάτικο bazaar μας με σκοπό τη συγκέντρωση χρημάτων που θα διατεθούν για τις ανάγκες των αδέσποτων ζώων του Δήμου μας.

Στο bazaar μας θα βρείτε και φέτος:

- Χριστουγεννιάτικα είδη και γούρια
- Διακοσμητικά αντικείμενα με θέμα τον σκύλο και τη γάτα
- Χρηστικά αντικείμενα για όλο το σπίτι
- Κοσμήματα και ρούχα για εσάς
- Πρωτότυπα ρούχα και αξεσουάρ για τους τετράποδους φίλους σας
- Φυτά και γλάστρες
- Βιβλία και CD
- Tα καινούρια μπλουζάκια του σωματείου μας!

Φέτος έχουμε την χαρά να φιλοξενούμε ειδικούς κομμωτές που θα προσφέρουν δωρεάν συμβουλές περιποίησης για τα σκυλάκια καθώς και μια εκπαιδεύτρια σκύλων που θα δίνει δωρεάν συμβουλές εκπαίδευσης/συμπεριφοράς το Σάββατο 15:00-18:00 και την Κυριακή 12:00-15:00.

Όπως και τις προηγούμενες χρονιές, έτσι και φέτος στον μπουφέ μας θα βρείτε:
- Σπιτικά γλυκά, φαγητά και καφέ από τα χεράκια μας
- Πάγκο με vegan γλυκά και συνταγές για χορτοφάγους
- Χειροποίητα μπισκότα για σκύλους.

Τα μέλη της Ζωοφιλικής Ένωσης Ηλιούπολης θα σας ενημερώνουν για τη δράση του Σωματείου και για τα ζώα που είναι διαθέσιμα για υιοθεσία.

Δεχόμαστε με χαρά δωρεές αντικειμένων που για τα ζώα σας δεν είναι πια χρήσιμα αλλά για τα αδέσποτα ζώα είναι σημαντικά, όπως λουράκια, κουβέρτες, παλιά σπιτάκια/καλαθάκια καθώς και τροφές..

Ελάτε παρέα με τα παιδιά σας και τα ζωάκια σας για να στηρίξετε τις προσπάθειές μας για έναν κόσμο με πιο ευτυχισμένα ζώα!

Θα μας βρείτε 12 και 13 Δεκεμβρίου, από τις 11 μέχρι τις 8, στο Δεύτερο Δημοτικό Σχολείο, Πουσουλίδου και Χαλκοκονδύλη (είσοδος από την Χαλκοκονδύλη), κοντά στην κεντρική πλατεία της Ηλιούπολης!

We are delighted to invite you to our annual Christmas bazaar! This is a fundraising event and all the money will go towards the needs of our animals within our Municipality. The members of Ilioupolis Animal Welfare Union will be there to welcome you, inform you about our activities and answer any questions you might have. You will also find information about all our strays that are up for adoption.

This year, our Christmas bazaar will offer an array of interesting and exciting goods for you and your pets:
- Christmas goods and charms
- Decorative items with cat and dog themes
- Practical household items
- Jewellery and clothing
- Original clothing ideas and accessories for your pets
- Pots and plants
- Books and CDs
- The new t-shirts and jumpers of our organisation

We will have the pleasure to have with us pet groomers who will offer free advice and ideas on how to groom your pets. In addition, a dog trainer will also be giving free advice and show you techniques on how to train your dog! Please note that the dog trainer will be available on Saturday between 3pm and 6pm and on Sunday between 12pm and 3pm.

In our buffet, you will find delicious homemade puddings and coffee, vegan deserts and vegan recipes as well as homemade dog biscuits.

Donations of small items such as collars, blankets, cat and dog beds, wet and dry cat and dog food as well as medicines are more than welcome!

Come and join us and bring along your children or pets to support our efforts to create a better world for the animals!

Our Christmas Bazaar will be open on the 12th and 13th of December from 11am till 8pm, at the 2nd Primary School of Ilioupoli. The address is Pousoulidou and Chalkokondili (entrance from Chalkokondili street), right next to the main square of Ilioupoli!

Cats at the old cemetary

the cats are living in the grounds of the turkish cemetary .

thank you trying to find them and replying to my e mail

i thought i would have another try to send the photos incase any one is near that area

Dear Ms McCann,

We are very sorry hearing from you that people have informed you wrongly about the cats and the future of them in Rhodes.Of course, it's not possible for us to take care of all the animals in Rhodes island because we are a very small organisation based on volunteers withoun financial help from the government or others.This year we have arleady collected 70 cats and have built a small shelter form them in Kalithea.Of course, these cats have to be sterilised,fed and have medical care.There is not any organised poisoning of animals but unfortunately some of them die due to physical issues.We appreciate your interest and if you are willing to help you can donate at the following.

Pefkos Cats

Dear sir or madam,

I have recently returned from holiday in Pefkos and am deeply concerned over the welfare of a wild colony of young cats who lived within the grounds of the Finas Hotel Apartments. They were beautiful creatures, many extremely young, however we heard while we were in the hotel that the locals plan to kill them every year by poisoning once the tourists have left. I am so angry that human beings would treat these wonderful sentient beings so horrifically, especially when such a tourist trade is made out of using the images of such cats to sell calendars and other holiday souvenirs. I am sure that you will agree how sickening and duplicitous such goings-on are!

I have two beautiful cats of my own back here in England who live the life of luxury and I felt so deeply saddened by the potential fate of these beautiful Greek cats that I wished, and still wish that I could have brought them all back with me to safety.

Please could you advise me as to whether there is anything that can be done to save these beautiful creatures? I enclose pictures of some of the cats and can give you likely locations for where they usually live.

I very much look forward to hearing back from you. I don't think that an hour has passed when the issue of these cats' welfare hasn't troubled me since my return.

Worden ingeënt en gechipped voordat ze naar Nederland komen.
Wie o wie helpt ze aan een goede baas!!!

Ermis is a puppy 4-5 months old probably he had a car accident and he is blind but the vet said that maybe is from the hit so he is on medication and we will now in some days if he will see again or not or if he will need an opperation. I called him Ermis he is a cross coker spaniel. he is a sweety!!!

Η Τυχη ειναι η σκυλιτσα της φωτογραφιας αν την θυμαστε σωθηκε πριν απο 4 μηνες απο φολα..... δυστυχως χαθηκε σημερα (18-3-09) στη περιοχη της Λινδου , φοραει ενα μπλουζακι λευκο το οποιο γραφει πανω I love dogs και επισης ροζ κολλαρο . αν την δειτε επικοινωνηστε στο 6945136387.
